Penelope 18 year old Light (2026 Release), 70.1%

Penelope has dabbled in light whiskey a handful of times, and this release marks its oldest higher-proof iteration yet. The whiskey was distilled in Indiana from a corn-dominant mashbill, then aged in second-fill oak for 18 years. On the nose, this translates to a great interplay of fruit and spice: cherries, Raisinets, strawberry milkshake, and a touch of oak spice. The palate yields slightly deeper flavors of chocolate and caramel, alongside berry fruit and baking spice. The finish combines fruit, spice, vanilla, and chocolate, making for a delightful, almost summery sipper.
