It’s all amburana on the nose, with warm Cinnabon, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, powdered sugar, cream cheese, and caramel. The palate is syrupy, offering heather honey, cinnamon sugar, coffee cake, and Greek yogurt with walnuts—all of which more or less carry over to the finish, which doesn’t add any new discernible flavors. The secondary maturation is quite strong here, lending a cloying texture and overshadowing the base flavors of the bourbon.
