Finished in 200-liter totara casks—a hard, straight-grained indigenous wood—the nose has toasted coconut, cinnamon bark, macaroons, fragrant floral notes, mint leaf, lemon hard candies, pear, peach, and light honey. Lemon, white chocolate, dried stone and tropical fruits, caramel, and toasted spices, with creaminess, malt, and milk chocolate breaking out in the end. Lightly structured on first sip, but it develops more body given time.
