Lemon sherbet, salty coastal air, light vanilla, gentle driftwood smoke, and candied lemon on the nose. This is subtle and interesting, but not a peat bomb in any olfactory sense. Vanilla, lemon candy, peat smoke, pepper, and hints of orange peel on the palate. The peat smoke really shows some Islay swagger. The final movement plays baked orange, pome granate, and pink grapefruit before a finish of sweet lemon curd.
