This kicks off exquisitely, as aromas of ripe red berries, fresh apricot, mellow peat, and vanilla rise from the glass. The palate is viscous and hot, but not overwhelmingly so, with heaps of spice tempered by strawberry puree, ginger, and char. Berry brightness sticks the landing, ensuring the finish is a gorgeous combination of fruit, spice, and smoke.
