RY3 14 year old Private Reserve Cask Strength Single Barrel Light Whiskey, 64.5%

Based in Bardstown, RY3 is a blender using three different whiskeys from three different mashbills, aged for three different time periods. Toasted marshmallow, wood spice, and drying oak on the nose, with a hint of orange peel. Orange slices and toffee on the palate; heat on top but mellow underneath, with vanilla malt and caramel. A lengthy finish, more vanilla, spice, and balanced oak. Lots of depth and a nice balance of flavors.
