Rampur Jugalbandi No. 5 Tokaji Cask Finished, 55.6%

Jugalbandi describes two instruments creating harmony; in this case, bourbon and tokaji wine casks. Baked stone fruits, dried mango, fruit jellies, new leather, gingerbread, spiced caramel, and vanilla seeds on the nose. It opens with honey, apricot, and vanilla flavors, then the cask strength hits with a peak of spices. Once the spices subside, there’s creamy oak, dried apricot, and caramel. Cinnamon, dark chocolate, and oak on the finish. (Release date: 11/24)
