Cranberry juiciness, baked plum, cherry pie, and finely ground spices on the nose, opening up to marmalade steamed sponge pudding, brown sugar, and a pinch of ground ginger. It has a fantastically thick, chewy texture, with flavors of toffee, marmalade, and clove-studded orange, then chocolate caramels and more traditional port cask characteristics of dried cranberry and damson, leaving a finish of tart red berries and pot still spiciness.
