Redwood Empire Pipe Dream Toasted Triple Finish (Batch 001), 46%

Finished in a trio of toasted French, Hungarian, and garryana oak barrels. Grape jam, nectarines, Gala apples, and butterscotch on an uncharacteristically closed nose. The palate includes peanut brittle, Reese’s Pieces, cinnamon sugar, and vanilla. It grows spicier on the finish, adding flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, and Hershey’s chocolate. The flavors themselves are solid, but they’re generally shy and reticent, never really coming out to play.
