Redwood Empire’s first wheater offers woody aromas with wisps of grassy fields, honeyed oat, and vanilla extract. On the palate the vanilla and the smoke blend wonderfully, with s’mores, campfire, and dried oak coming together. While it is light on the spices, with only a faint pepperiness, the prominence of the oak adds complexity and a little depth to an otherwise straightforward sip.
