Sweet plum notes on first sniff followed by dry Ryvita crackerbread and mint leaves before the crunchy rye spiciness is let loose to run riot. Rich treacle, plum, and molasses coat the palate, leaning heavily on clove spiciness, yielding to bourbon biscuit, burnt toast, bramble, and punchy rye notes. This tasty Austrian rye whisky was matured in American white oak casks and finished in Gölles Old Plum brandy casks.
