Distilled from heavily peated Scottish malt, this has fragrant, aromatic smoke, red chile flakes, sea salt, and turmeric on the nose. Sweet toffee, green apple, melon, and caramel sauce flavors meet a wave of spices led by pepper and chile. American oak characteristics come into play after the spicy blast, with vanilla fudge, baked pastry, breakfast cereal, and a hint of cinnamon, then smoke and oak char to finish.
