As Sagamore’s bottled in bond Maryland ryes get older, their flavors grow in tandem. Baking spice, cinnamon applesauce, pie crust, and vanilla frosting fill the nose. On the palate, a delightful texture is supported by more baking spice, plus barrel char, baked apple, and Creamsicle. The finish is a decent length and veers toward darker, deeper notes of baking chocolate and more char.
