Sentinel Finished in Whiskey Del Bac Mesquite Casks (Batch 02), 46%

On the nose there’s a whisper of burnt wood, a dash of black pepper, and a heavy pour of vanilla extract. The palate is more cohesive, with orange candies, sweet tea, apple cider, and fuller, rounder vanilla notes like frosting and ice cream. The spice is dialed in on the palate as well, with cinnamon, cloves, and white pepper adding depth to the sweetness. A wisp of smoke and cinnamon round out the short finish.
