Shelter Point Single Malt, 46%

The nose is pleasantly sweet, slightly tropical, and grain-forward, evoking cereal milk, dried pineapple rings, and vanilla frosting. Dig deeper and there’s a charred quality, almost like burnt cinnamon-sugar toast. Plenty of hot cinnamon spice on the palate at first, but it fades into Krispy Kreme doughnut, white peach, and a hint of that sweet honeyed smoke. A splendid finish brings out more balanced fruit character.
