Shinsei Blended, 40.5%

This blend is silky soft and feather-light from beginning to end. The nose is faint, with juicy lime, pear tart, and dried tropical fruits. The palate brings gentle honeyed sweetness with shortbread cookies, sweet apple, and a trace of vegetal spice. The finish is short and delicate with vanilla and anise quickly fading. The nose and palate hint at what this whisky could be, but as it pours now, it is just too delicate and light.
