Single Malts of India Marudham 10 year old, 50%

The first age-stated whisky in Amrut’s independent bottling series, the nose shows baking spice, milk chocolate, toasted granola, sourdough crust, and baked apple. This has a weighty texture with greater complexity than the series’ non-age stated Marudham expression, with creamy custard, brown sugar, fig roll, dates, poached pear, and plum flavors. It develops a glorious note of melted chocolate pudding, with hazelnut, roasted spice, and a finish of sweetly spiced chocolate.
