The nose has expressive peat with mineral and herbal, rather than smoky, characteristics; there's also orange oil, fresh ginger, and chalk. Water brings out blueberries and blackberries. Nutty and roasted flavors dominate the palate, with mouthwatering oak, black pepper, and coffee bean, sprinkled with orange oil, shoulder to shoulder with the peat.
