St. Bridget's Kirk (Batch No. 2), 48.4%

This is the second blended malt from independent bottler Lady of the Glen; the whisky passes through a small solera system that’s comprised of a fino cask and two oloroso casks. There’s a lot to love here, as the musty nose somehow calls to mind freshly baked raisin bread, dried fruit, and orange peel. Char, café latte, and wood notes harmonize on the palate, while the finish is full of gorgeous spice, apple juice, apricot, tobacco leaf, muted peat, and banana bread.
