Named for its famed namesake golf course and backed by celebrity athletes including Payton Manning and Andy Roddick, among others, this bourbon strikes a great balance between approachability and flavor. On the nose there’s cornbread drizzled with honey, vanilla ice cream, and toasted marshmallow. The palate brings in cinnamon rolls, butter cake, a bit of tannic oak, and vanilla custard. The finish has good length, with toffee, vanilla, and roasted coffee beans.
