Ground pepper spiciness balanced with sweetness, seaweed, squeezed orange quarters, and a hint of chile flakes, the peppery spices underpinned by peat smoke. This has more body and is a more rounded, mellow whisky than Talisker’s NAS expressions. Vanilla, green apple, citrus, punchy peppercorns, barley sugar, toffee, and smoke on the palate leave a comforting creamy finish with vanilla toffee, smoke, and pepper.
