Matured on the Isle of Skye in bourbon and sherry casks. Smoke and tar on the nose, with parsley, nutmeg, and the fresh quality of a winter storm. Mellow peat on the palate, leading with honeyed fruit notes of apricot and pear, though the peat starts to assert itself as it develops on the palate. A long finish as the peat fades and the fruit returns. A marvel- ous duel between peat and golden, luscious fruitiness
