Tamdhu Cigar Malt (No. 3), 53.8%

A sherried whisky with a cigar box edge to it. Like all Tamdhu expressions, this was fully matured in oloroso sherry casks. Ginger, aged oak, orange, and tobacco leaf on the nose, leading to a palate of baked apples, raisins, blackberries, dark chocolate, oak, and cigar smoke. Lots of sherry here, but also enough earthy bite to make it a cigar lover’s match.
