The nose puts you in a lumberyard—aromas of timber, sawdust, and paper bag waft upward. There’s more to this than wooden must, however, with baking bread, raisin, and a whiff of cigar wrapper joining the fray. The palate is delicately sweet, calling to mind baking spice, vanilla cream, berry smoothie, and strawberryfrosted birthday cake. The finish is splendid, turning those sweeter notes slightly darker by way of espresso bean and tiramisu.
