Tamnavulin White Wine Cask Edition Sauvignon Blanc Cask Aged, 40%

Part of Whyte & Mackay’s stable of distilleries, Tamnavulin charts its history back to 1966 but the current lineup of malts didn’t debut until 2016, celebrating the distillery’s 50th anniversary. This is a lean and green whisky. The nose is vegetal and crisp, with a hint of salinity and green pepper. The palate is fruitier—grapefruit, honeysuckle berries, and melon—and the finish is sweet and lightly vegetal.
