Matured for its first 9 years in a sherry butt, this then spent nearly 7 years in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry cask, giving it a nose of plum, bramble, and dried vine fruits, with milk chocolate, fruit syrup, and vanilla pod aromas. The spicy, fruity palate offers more plum, leaving stewed fruits, raspberry, vanilla seed, dark toffee, and a hint of black currant on the mouth-coating finish.
