Grain and malt whiskeys married in Central American rum casks for a year, the nose is floral and honeyed, with sweet stone fruits, zested orange, fine spices, mango strips, and grilled pineapple. Light citrus zest on the tongue, with honey, caramel, apricot, and vanilla, it deepens with rum-raisin, baked apple, and a pleasing spicy edge that carries through to a finish of spiced orchard fruits.
