Tenmile Distillery 3 year old Little Rest Classic (Batch 002), 46%

The nose is woodsy and warm, calling to mind cedar, dried leaves, pencil shavings, musty old attic, honey, and a hint of lemon. The wood remains on the beautifully textured palate, but sweeter notes also reveal themselves, among them brown sugar, toasted marshmallow, and lemon cupcake. The sweetness is never overbearing, carrying on nicely to a long finish that leaves you wanting more.
