The Cardrona The Falcon Single Malt, 52%

Blended from whiskies matured in oloroso sherry, bourbon, and pinot noir barrels. On the nose the whisky leads with vanilla pudding, blondies, orange zest, and cinnamon. The palate is well spiced, with cardamom and clove featuring prominently, then sweet custard and vanilla pound cake rounding it out. The finish shows some lightly tannic oak and warming spices.
