Serpentine smoke coils out of the glass, infused with lemon, melon, and sweet orange, then notes of green olives in brine, pastrami, peat, bookbinder’s adhesive, and icing sugar. Sweet and malty to taste, with manuka honey, baked citrus, butterscotch, hot peat smoke, toffee, and hazelnut, leading to a finish of freshly baked cookies and peat smoke. This bourbon barrel produced a flavorful and satisfying pour with exceptional balance. (216 bottles)
