The ImpEx Collection Isle of Raasay Distillery 4 year old, 60.3%

Made on an island in the Hebrides archipelago with fewer than 200 permanent residents, this coastal dram is all delicate fruit and gentle sea breeze on the nose, with honeyed grain and a hint of smoke. The oceanic character continues on the palate, with the salt air balanced by cranberry tart, blueberry pie, and a bit of tart lime. The finish has excellent length and fades slowly with flavors of toffee and smoke.
