This first age-stated expression from The Sexton was aged in oloroso-seasoned French oak casks. It has swirling aromas of dark sherry fruit, with dried vine fruit, fig, crème caramel, hazelnut, and peppercorn. The palate is fruity with a velvety texture, and boasts baked apple, plum, raisin, peppercorn, clove, freshly baked cookies, milk chocolate, and Brazil nut, and concludes with a smooth, flavorsome coffee bean finish.
