Three Chord Backstage Series: Allman Brothers Band Peach Brandy Barrel Finished, 53.5%

Celebrating the 53rd anniversary of the Allman Brothers’ “Eat a Peach” album, this is a blend of Kentucky bourbon and Tennessee whiskey finished in peach brandy barrels from the George Washington Mount Vernon Distillery. Honey-drizzled cornbread, wildflowers, and peach tea on the nose lead into a punchier spiced sip. On the palate, the whiskey is rich but much drier, with grilled stone fruit, toasted cinnamon, blueberry syrup, and chocolate- covered espresso beans. A finish of black coffee, leather, cigar smoke, and a hint of stewed berries. (Release date: 2/25)
