Thresh & Winnow 10 year old 2015 Vintage Single Cask, 50%

Koval Distillery made this from organic rye, exclusively using distillate from the heart cut. It offers oatmeal cookies, breakfast cereal, dried berries, molasses, and brown sugar on the nose. The palate is similarly sweet, with even more molasses and brown sugar, plus baking spice, vanilla, caramel, ripe papaya, rancio, and banana pudding, all lingering on the finish. Well-balanced and deep, truly putting its decade-long maturation on full display.
