Traveller brings country star Chris Stapleton and distilling luminary Harlen Wheatley of Buffalo Trace together to create a whiskey that, in Stapleton’s own words to this magazine, won’t “turn people off.” The nose is fruity and sweet, with apple pie, vanilla ice cream, and oleo-saccharum made with lemon and orange peels. The palate brings a hint of cinnamon bite along with the same sweet fruits before a short finish that’s all vanilla sweetness.
