Traveller No. 40 Full Proof Blended, 60.5%

The second whiskey from Buffalo Trace and musician Chris Stapleton is a higher-proof take on the flagship. Straight from the jump it’s punchier and spicier, awash with orange zest, black pepper, and plenty of cinnamon. The wood influence is pronounced on the palate, though so are baking spices, leather, and pound cake. The finish skews darker, with chocolate ganache, tart cherry, and vanilla coming out on top.
