Waves of orange, peach, and apricot on the nose, with peppercorns, peat smoke, and grilled bacon fat. The initial orange flavors are bombarded with clove, aniseed, and cigar smoke, and it takes a minute to settle. By then, the citrus and stone fruit flavors are dulled, leaving suggestions of nougat and dark chocolate cake. Don’t skimp on the water for easier drinking, as the core flavors remain intact.
