Virginia Distillery Brewer's Coalition Foothills Brewing Sexual Chocolate Imperial Stout Cask Finished, 50%

From the distillery’s series of single malts finished in craft beer barrels. Aged over 5 years and finished in stout barrels from North Carolina’s Foothills Brewing. Peppermint, cinnamon, lime, and char on the nose, with a rich, minty palate offering melon, apricot, and poached pears. A long finish, with more smoky char and sweet stone fruits. Pleasant, lightly fruity sweetness and good texture overall.
