This limited edition is finished in barrels that once held North Coast’s Old Rasputin stout. It invites you in with a chocolaty aroma that cloaks subtler notes of blackberry, strawberry rhubarb, and vanilla. The spicy, multifaceted palate has a deep stout-like maltiness, hazelnut spread, plum pudding, fruitcake, and a hint of Mexican hot chocolate. There’s some jalapeño zing on the finish accompanied by even more chocolate. Pleasantly complex and spicy.
