A 50/50 blend of VDC’s single malt and Green River bourbon. The nose leads with dried apricot, orange peel, cinnamon applesauce, Triscuits, Frosted Flakes, and French vanilla. Fruits keep coming on the palate, like baked apples, poached pears, and baking spice. The bourbon reveals itself on the finish, adding vanilla custard and oak amid familiar orchard
fruits and plum. An interesting blending showcase, but it’d be even better with deeper integration.
