This fino cask finish from whiskey merchant O’Connell was distilled at Great Northern Distillery in 2018 and has delightful aromas of blossom honey, vanilla, custard creams, toasted coconut, flowers, sugared almonds, olive oil, banana peel, and cookie dough. Flavors of sweet citrus, honey, green olive, gentle pepper, bitter almond, pineapple cubes, salted crackers, and Creamsicle, with a viscous, mouth-coating finish of brine and hints of anise.
