Waterford Peated Cuvée Fumo, 50%

A beautiful and balanced nose of chocolate, ashy smoke, malt, granola bars, hot coals, burlap coffee sacks, and a hint of creosote-painted fence. The familiar Waterford fruit salad notes show on the palate, with watermelon, cherry, red grape, and red apple, then pepper and salty peat smoke rounding off with chocolate pudding, hints of soy sauce, and rich chocolaty smoke. If anything, water jacks up the flavors to new levels of intensity.
