Partially matured in garryana oak, the only oak species native to Washington, this Westland malt is a celebration of the distillery’s Pacific Northwest home and a pioneering release in American single malt. On the nose, this edition is fruity and creamy, with marshmallow fluff, apples, pears, and bananas. The sip introduces white pepper and malty sweetness and the finish is long and rewarding, evolving from an interesting clash of pepper and oak to soft oaky sweetness. (Release date: 10/24)
