Westland Solum (2nd Edition), 50%

The second annual release of Westland’s whiskey made with American peat-smoked barley. Rich vanilla, barrel char, earthiness, mustiness, mint, and woodsmoke rise from the glass. More smoke on the palate, along with sweet lemon, vanilla, and pepper spice. A full, honeyed finish brings a reprise of the peat smoke, plus orange peel and red berries. Very sippable, with the peated smokiness adding balance and complexity to the sweetness.
