After dazzling whisky fans in Florida, San Francisco, Chicago, and New York, WhiskyFest is set to make its final stop of 2023 on Saturday, December 2nd in Sin City. The event, which will be held at Resorts World Las Vegas hotel, is the perfect opportunity for aficionados and newcomers to discover exciting whiskies.

The night, which kicks off at 6:30 for general admission ticket holders, promises a plethora of interesting pours from around the world. Fans of American whiskey can sip on favorites from Michter’s, Jack Daniel’s, Blackened, Frey Ranch, and Larceny, among others. Scotch drinkers can expect pours from Compass Box, Chivas Regal, Glenlivet, Dewar’s, and Glen Moray. From Ireland comes Redbreast, Method and Madness, and Glendalough.

Alongside an additional hour of tasting, which begins at 5:30, guests with VIP tickets also gain access to some of the most exclusive pours. The VIP-only list includes Compass Box Art & Decadence, Johnnie Walker Blue, Dewar’s 21 year old mizunara cask finish, Heaven’s Door Bootleg Series Vol. V, and Kentucky Owl Batch 12.

There’s also plenty of non-whisky pours: There’s a host of gins from Glendalough, Lux & Umbra, and Vim & Petal, four expressions from Flecha Azul tequila, and a mizunara-finished rum from Minoki. The list also includes Martell Blue Swift, a bourbon cask-finished cognac.

In addition to the pours, guests are invited to attend two educational Master Classes. The first dives into the history of Heaven Hill Distillery, featuring a tasting of three expressions—William Heavenhill, Bottled in Bond, and Heritage Collection—all of which follow the same mashbill but have different proofs and other characteristics. The second is an exploration of scotch flavor profiles from Compass Box, which highlights the importance of cask selection and features a tasting of six expressions. Both Master Classes start at 7:00, with seating on a first come, first served basis.

WhiskyFest Las Vegas has something for everyone, from the curious who are just getting acquainted with whisky to those seasoned experts looking to expand their palate and find a new favorite tipple.
