Created to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. (and priced accordingly), this straight rye comes in a piggy bank-shaped bottle that’s hard to ignore. It has a sweet, boozy nose that includes vanilla pudding, maple syrup, toasted coconut, and fudge-covered berries. On the palate, crème brûlée and molasses are augmented by savory mixed nuts and a wisp of mint. It grows more minty with water, which also brings chocolate.
