Floral, tropical, and a little bit funky on the nose, WhistlePig’s auto-racing collaboration leads with hard citrus candies, grapefruit soda, pineapple, and roses. The palate zips along with mango, lemon, and a slight forest-floor earthiness. While the sweet fruit notes sing the loudest by several decibels, rye spices and a bracing mint note are in the background of the palate. The finish delivers more fruit, softly bringing this unique pour to a close.
