This limited release was selected by New York City bartenders and made from five barrels, representing the city’s five boroughs, giving the whiskey its name. The nose is floral and fruity with rose petals, cherry cola, strawberry candies, and a whisper of cinnamon rolls. The palate is nuttier, with candied walnuts and salted peanuts backed by vanilla ice cream and cherry cough drops. The finish balances sweet and spicy with hot fudge sundae and black pepper.
