Aromas of fresh-baked rye bread, sassafras, hazelnut, vanillin, and hints of dusty earth on the nose. A smooth honeyed palate is filled with notes of fruit nectar and light almond nuttiness, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, cherries, cooked blueberries, and rumblings of spice beneath. The creamy texture continues through to the finish, which brings more subtle spice, nutty almond sweetness, and warm apple pie. Great texture, and a variety of well-integrated flavors.
