This year’s Antique Collection’s wheated bourbon lost 61% of its volume due to evaporation, according to Buffalo Trace. The significant loss of the angel’s share has created an incredibly concentrated and powerful whiskey. The nose pops from the glass with sweet corn, vanilla frosting, and rich spiced wood. The palate is bold and flavorful, with Mexican hot chocolate, mashmallow, and spiced fruits. The finish is long and robust. (Release date: 10/24).
